2 ish weeks to go......

and counting
we're looking at induction at around 38 weeks (11th march ish) as long as all the scan/dopplar/heart monitoring stays good, if not it will be earlier, we will know a definite date by next tuesday I hope.
Baby clothes and bedding are washed, his room still looks like a dumping ground but we'll get there.
Excited, scared and terrified in equal amounts I think.

I had a very down day yesterday despite all the appointments going well, I think it was because a couple of girls from SC announced they'd had their twins, I felt jealous, then bad because I did. Had a big "why me" moment. My poor little man, I'm so happy to be pregnant with him but I miss my girls every day still.

Happy Birthday to ME!

40 today, can you believe it.

I certainly never expected to be pregnant and 40 but all is going well.

afternoon all

I had a scan and dr appointment today and baby is now breech, but they said there's plenty of fluid and lots of time yet for him to turn back around (little devil). Doppler was all good and he's measuring right in the middle of where he should be, they estimate his weight at close to 3 1/2 lbs.
I asked about what will happen regarding delivery and my being on the blood thinners and they basically want to just see how things go for now, the ideal is a vaginal delivery with a possibility of being induced 38/39 weeks but it all depends how I'm doing and what position baby is in/how blood flow is doing etc. so no answer really

Good morning lovely people who read this.
I've been a lax poster for some time, will try and do better I promise.

Things are progressing along nicely with baby, my blood seems to be behaving itself and the scan's have been good for the last month. Hard to believe I have over 2lb's of baby sat in me.

Things for me have been a bit less smooth, I was in hospital all last weekend with pancreatitis caused by gall stones, apparently I have a load of them and will have to have my gall bladder removed after baby gets here, it was all looking a bit dicey there for a while that they'd need to do surgery whilst I'm pregnant, not a good plan especially with taking the blood thinning injections. Thankfully my insides have settled down so now I'm on a lowfat/nofat diet so as not to disrupt my gallbladder again. The great side effect of this is that I've already lost a stone in weight in just one week - who knew this dieting lark actually worked!!

Will post some new tummy pics soon
